Questions
Is it only for big birthdays?
No. It works for any birthday party, from a first birthday to a 100th. It suits 18ths, 21sts, 30ths, 40ths, 50ths and 60ths especially well, as there are usually lots of guests with phones out.
Can I book it for someone else?
Yes. Most birthday galleries are booked by a partner, a son or daughter, or a friend. You manage the gallery, and you can share it with the birthday person afterwards.
Do guests need to download an app?
No. They scan the QR code with their phone camera and upload straight from the web page. There is no app and no account to create.
Is there a limit on photos, videos or guests?
No. Every package includes unlimited uploads from as many guests as you like.
Can we keep it a surprise?
Yes. The guest page only shows the birthday person's name and the date. The gallery stays private until you open it with your PIN.
When can we see everything?
The gallery opens at 9am the morning after the party, so the late-night uploads are already in. You can choose a different time from your page.
Can guests keep uploading after the party?
Yes. They can add photos and videos until the gallery closes. That is 30 days after the party with The Gallery, or 90 days with The Full Story.
Do we have to sort the photos?
No. We read the time each photo and video was taken from the guest's phone, so everything appears in the order it happened. This relies on the clock on each guest's phone being set correctly.
What if the venue has poor signal?
Uploads pick up where they left off if the signal drops. Guests can also add theirs later, from home, with the same QR code.
What do we put on the tables?
Printable QR table cards, plus the QR code on its own. Add it to your own signs, invitations or a welcome board.
Can we keep the gallery open for longer?
Yes. Add an extra year for £20 when you book, or later while it is open. After that, each further year is £15.
